How is this fair? You’ve worked hard, done your job, and built your skills. Then, one day, you're told you must train your replacement—a replacement brought in under the H-1B visa program, who costs half the pay and works twice as hard because they have no choice but to comply. I don't know what does if that doesn't feel like a slap in the face.
They Wax Virtuous at Your Expense
The elites who push the H-1B agenda love to tell you this program is about filling jobs that “Americans can’t or won’t do.” They sit in their cushy offices, proudly touting global competition and efficiency as a badge of honor. But here's the kicker—they're not offering up their own jobs for replacement.
The execs won’t be the ones training their replacements. Neither will the policy wonks writing legislation for this program. Their jobs aren’t getting shipped off. No, it’s you. The people working hard in manufacturing, IT, engineering, and the skilled trades are expected to take the hit.
They make it sound like this program is a necessary sacrifice for the greater good, but it’s a sacrifice they never make themselves. That's not competition—that’s exploitation, plain and simple.
Train Your Replacement? Really?
Think about this for a second. If H-1B workers were here to do jobs no US citizen is qualified to handle, why do they need you to train them first? This isn't filling some mysterious skills gap but cost-cutting at your expense. And while they’re trimming the bottom line, you’re sitting across from - and training - someone who will likely take your job in the next few weeks. Imagine the humiliation of being forced to hand them the roadmap to replace you.
This absurd contradiction lays bare the real purpose of the H-1B program. It’s not about innovation. It’s about setting up a system where employers can bring in people desperate enough to work under mediocre conditions because the alternative is losing their visa, their job, and their future in this country. It's a power imbalance, so glaring it should make you sick.

A Modern-Day Indentured Servitude
Let’s call this what it is. These H-1B workers are tied to their employers like indentured servants were tied to their masters. Their legal status in the United States depends entirely on their job. If they quit or get fired, it’s over. They’re done. That dependency makes negotiating fair pay or pushing back against unreasonable demands impossible.
Who benefits from this setup? The people at the top. They get workers who will stay quiet, work harder, and accept less—all while putting you, the American worker, in an impossible position. How much longer can we tolerate a system that devalues the dignity of work for everyone involved?
Here's Their Excuse
The H-1B visa program is meant for roles where no qualified U.S. workers are available, yet U.S. employees often train their H-1B replacements. Businesses justify this by citing cost efficiency, as H-1B workers can be cheaper due to lower salaries or outsourcing. They also claim these workers bring specialized skills essential for future projects. Additionally, companies use H-1B hires as part of "broader strategies" like outsourcing, aiming for cost reductions and global talent access. While the program is defended as a temporary solution, these justifications create an exception so wide you could drive an invasion of our country through it.

It’s the Republican form of Unfairness
And while discussing fairness, let's address the elephant in the room. Affirmative action, the Democrat form of unfairness, already tilts the scales in hiring practices, giving some a leg up that they haven’t earned. Now, with programs like H-1B, the Republicans get to stick it to us. The deck is stacked against us from all sides - no matter who wins the election. How much can one person take? Are we seriously expected to accept that not only is it harder to get and keep a job but that we’re supposed to cheer while these companies dismantle livelihoods in the name of “progress”? The US is not a GDP to benefit the lords and ladies of the corporate elite; the US is our home.
Speak Up!
It’s time to ask yourself some hard questions. Do you believe the people who promote this program have your best interests at heart? If they did, wouldn’t they be stepping into the line of fire themselves instead of pushing you in front of the bus?
Most importantly, how long are you willing to sit back and watch this happen before you take a stand? No one else seems interested in fighting for fairness. Maybe it’s time we stop expecting them to and start doing it ourselves.
The rules keep changing, but the losers stay the same—it’s us. If we’re not willing to speak up, nothing will change. The H-1B program isn’t about opportunity. It’s about control. Having a more docile and obedient servant class. And the sooner we call it what it is, the sooner we can demand better—time to fight back.
Let President Trump know! Call your congressional representatives. Tell them how bitterly unfair this is and how you deeply resent it! Don't expect Elon Musk to tell him. Elon Musk thinks H1-B is excellent - for him and his friends!
